Events
We have fundraising and patriotic events scheduled at select
times during the year. These funds allow the post to assist veterans and their
famlies, provide for the local VA home, and acknowledge the achievements of our
local young people.

State Convention Update:
There were numerous awards presented to our VFW Post 3978 and Ladies Auxiliary: Community Service, Americanism, Youth Activities, Hospital Participation, Buddy Poppy, Safety Programs, Patriot and Voice of Democracy Awards, Excelling above 100% in Membership.
Also Individual Awards were All-State Commander Randal Loyed and All-State Quartermaster Jerry Belvin (will designate a white All-State headgear). [3rd year for this]
